Proton Satria GTI - Modified - NO RESERVE

RELISTED WITH NO RESERVE - open to offers - car is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to end early but has to go.

Reluctantly for sale is my beloved Proton Satria GTI. Firstly I have owned this car for over 5 years and can safely say its the best hot hatch I have ever had. The only reason i am selling this car is due to the rediculous fuel prices and even more rediculous insurance premiums being charged at the moment, otherwise I wouldnt be selling it but unfortunately I cannot afford to run two cars anymore.

The car has been modified over time with the following:

FSE Power Boost Valve with pressure gage
Full custom made stainless steel exhaust by Exhaustsuk from down pipe back to twin oval exit with centre cobra sport back box
De-cat pipe, however the cat is on the car as it was just too loud for me with it off but its included in the sale if you wish to put it back on
HID light conversion
Apexi racing air filter
18 Inch Wolfrace suzuka alloys with low profile tyres - Painted in satin black. One wheel does have a slight scuff. nothing too bad - rest are mint see pictures of scuff.
Side mouldings on front rear and side all repainted last year so are all black, front splitter painted black also and all wiper arms as the had started to rust
Blue silicon hose kit
Mitsubishi EVO front brake conversion (twin pot)  Red Calipers all round - Discs and pads changed front and rear June 2011 so are all pretty much brand new - Front brakes are Drilled and grooved discs - standard rears, all pads are Brembos front and rear
Mitsubishi FTO rear suspension arms (these are better as they are fabricated and not pressed - stronger and more rigid)
Mitsubishi FTO front bottom arms and support arms (same reason as above)
Standard shocks and springs but then these are designed and made by Lotus so probably doesnt get much better than that anyway -  the car handles really really well
Tinted windows
Sunstrip
M3 style wing mirrors with indicators (wired up and working - in black again these are a very recent addition and ill post some more pics up  later)
Tinted front indictors and rear lights - also a set of lexus clear rear clusters that are currently on the car - both sets included so take your pick
Sony 6x9's in rear quarters not on parcel shelf running from an amp in the boot
Front door speakers & 4" speakers in dash also running from amp
The car does have a sub but i havent had this in the car, still works though, all wires to run it still in car so again if its your thing wire it up - amp sold though.
Sony CDX head unit - however the ribbon has snapped (its a folding front face and so it currently does not work. Ribbons are available on ebay cheap and its an easy fix)
Standard black and grey recaro interior in good condition no rips or tears - see pictures
Standard GTI mats
Nokia Blue tooth in car kit, wired up to the stereo with a small 4 inch colour screen mounted on the dash, control unit at the side of the drivers seat near handbrake. cool piece of kit, displays who is calling you on the screen, dims the music and able to speak through microphone mounted on drivers a piller, sound comes through speaker mounted in passenger footwell
Little things like LED blue interior lights, blue LED side lights, Chrome ariel, chrome tax disc holder, Blue oil filler cap, Mitsi Rally art chrome radiator cap
The Car has had everything it has ever needed - Recent new water pump, Lambda sensor, Cam belt done 90000 miles serviced by myself every 6 months with castrol GTX oil. No engine noise, no tapping, no leaks. The engine is after all a mitsubishi evo 3 engine minus the turbo. I have changed the dash also, as the old one had some marks on it and it annoyed me - this is just an example of how the car has been looked after.

The money that has been spent on the car while I have owned it doesnt really bare thinking about. I forgot to mention for the last MOT I changed all the suspension arms as above to FTO - track rod ends, bottom arms, power steering rack, brake discs and pads. This alone cost well over 600 quid.

I have a mountain of spares also, a GTI came into a scrap yard and i took all sorts off it, I have a spare alternator, manifold, throttle body - too much to mention really.
Im sure there is plenty I have missed and ill list the things I have as and when they come to me.

Bad points:

This is a 12 year old car, does have some car park dings on the sides
The bonnet could do with a respray, the laquer has started to come off in some places on the front (not really noticable unless like me your a bit of a perfectionist) it also has a small crack in the paint about n inch long
There is a light scuff on the front bumper - I cant tell you how this happened because i dont know. Front bumper is stone chipped also - see pictures above nothing too bad at all

The car has not been thrashed everyday of its life far from it, but it has been driven spiritedly, if your looking for something thats quick and not a lot of people know what it is, then this is the car for you. The ride is very very stiff and it does attract quite a bit of attention. 0 - 60 theres not a lot that will keep with it unless its a petrol and has a turbo. and in the twisty stuff its again a fantastic car.
